The more they practice, the better they become with each day. Students listen to audio tapes to have a complete understanding and memorize the short segments during the language sessions. It always helps to have a dictionary of that particular language on your table at all times. Whenever you come across a new word, one needs to copy it down along with the definition. One can even purchase a good translation dictionary, which contains the meanings of the words and translates them from your native language to the one you are learning in the present.

Apart from this, little little steps can help you to learn a language. Read as many materials you can possibly get in that language such as articles, short essays, plays, short stories as it is a good practice for persons who are learning a language. The language students should start reading childrens books for a start as the language is easy for a beginner and then they should move over to reading popular books, newspapers in that language as it certainly helps to learn the language better as they are easy to understand. The next step would be to learn the grammar correctly with vocabulary building. If your grammar is not correct others will not understand you in that language so you need to pay special attention to it from the beginning. As the grammar tends to be abstract in nature, specific attention is required to make it stronger.
